Seventeen members of our SAR team attended CORSAR's SAREX (California Oregon Regional Search and Rescue's SAR training) at Lake of the Woods in Klamath Falls, Oregon over the last 3 days. It was a great opportunity to train and learn and network with the 9 other counties in the cooperative.

Congratulation to team Mary Deane and K9 Seger on passing our county air scent wilderness evaluation. They are now an operational search team.

Thank you to SAR Coordinator Deputy Robert Baker for doing the evaluation and to Charlie for enduring the biting insects as he hid for the team.
