THIS IS A PSA. THERE IS NO DANGER AT THIS TIME.

This is out of the coos county emergency management office. We have had a couple of people come into the fire department and request an evacuation map should a fire breakout on Shelly Road/ Crest acres. Please make yourself familiar with these maps, routes, and with the Everbridge app. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to myself down at the fire station or the emergency manager.

Residents of Crest Acres Road and Shelley Road should use Shelley Road as the primary evacuation route toward Coquille. If Shelley Road is blocked or unsafe, Canyon Way may be used as a secondary route; however, road conditions on Canyon Way are poor and may not be suitable for all vehicles.

Residents should review and become familiar with both routes before an emergency, maintain adequate fuel, and follow directions from emergency personnel during an evacuation. Never enter a closed roadway or travel through fire, heavy smoke, fallen trees, or other hazardous conditions.

Join us tomorrow starting at 12:00 PM for the 40th Annual Coquille Fire & Rescue Steak Feed!

This is the largest fundraiser of the year for our Volunteer Firefighters Association. Every dollar raised goes right back into supporting our volunteers through training, lifesaving equipment, and new tools to better serve our community.

When the call comes in, these dedicated men and women leave their families, their jobs, and whatever they're doing to answer yours. Tomorrow is a chance to give back to those who are always there when our community needs them most.

Come enjoy a great steak, spend the day with friends and family, and help support the volunteers who proudly serve Coquille.

We can't wait to see you tomorrow at noon!

🔥 Fire Danger Increases to HIGH at Midnight 🔥
Beginning tonight at 12:00 AM, our area will move into HIGH Fire Danger.

As fire danger increases, so will the enforcement of fire restrictions. Citations will be issued to individuals who are not following the regulations currently in place.

We want everyone to enjoy the beautiful summer weather, but we also need your help keeping our community safe. It only takes one small spark to start a catastrophic wildfire.

🚒 Huge shoutout to TireTech LLC and S&S Auto & Customs! 👏
Our 1919 Brockway was in need of some new shoes, and these local businesses came through in a big way. They had the tires and tubes ordered and delivered in just three days!
Thank you for your fast, professional service and for making our historic fire truck a top priority. We truly appreciate your support in helping us preserve a piece of Coquille Fire & Rescue history.
Be sure to support these great local businesses! 🚒
