Judge George "Jorge" A. Sarduy

Judge George "Jorge" A. Sarduy Persons pictured here have not necessarily endorsed Judge Sarduy Judge George “Jorge” A.

Sarduy, one of our circuit court judges appointed to the county court bench in 2006 and elevated to the circuit bench in 2008. Our judicial system is predicated upon the fair, and even tempered administration of justice. George is well versed in the law and has a genuine ability to put litigants at ease, making the judicial branch less intimidating for laypersons, and welcoming to attorneys. As a

county court judge, George presided over both civil and criminal assignments. Time passes so quickly when you enjoy what you are doing so it’s hard to believe that it’s re-election time once again. With your help and support we hope to re-elect this committed, sincere and devoted jurist in 2016. Here are just some of his accomplishments:
Practiced law for 12 years
Head clerk of the Appellate Division of the Circuit Court
Member of the City of Coral Gables Historic Preservation Board
Served asCoral Gables Code Enforcement Hearing Officer
Volunteer docent for the Biltmore Hotel
Associate Administrative Judge of the Juvenile Division, where he presided over dependency cases. Currently, George is serving a Circuit Court Judge in the Family Division & teaching at Miami Dade College's Paralegal Program.

I am honored to announce that effective October of 2022, I will be serving as Associate Administrative Judge of the Family Division along with my colleague, Vicky de Pino.

Thank you to Chief Judge Nushin Sayfie () and Administartive Judge Samantha Ruiz-Cohen for placing their trust in me and allowing me the privilege to join their team. I look forward to working with them and Vicky to serve the needs of the families, members of the bar, and bench in our division. I want to thank Judges Maria Espinosa Dennis and Margie Verde for their service to the division as Associate Administrative Judges. They have truly set the standard for the position. I also want to thank my incredible team, Venessa (), Cesar (.mayans), and Manny (). This honor would not have been possible without each of you by my side.

77 years ago today, the largest amphibious invasion in history occurred when more than 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline, to fight N**i Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France (this portion of the mission was referred to as Operation Overlord). General Dwight D. Eisenhower called the operation (Neptune but it is known as D-Day) a crusade in which, “we will accept nothing less than full victory.” More than 5,000 Ships and 13,000 aircraft supported the D-Day invasion, and by day’s end, the Allies gained a foot-hold in Continental Europe. The cost in lives on D-Day was high. More than 9,000 Allied Soldiers were killed or wounded, but their sacrifice allowed more than 100,000 Soldiers to begin the slow, hard slog across Europe, to defeat Adolf Hi**er and N**i Germany.
