As many residents of Center Township may already know, I am running for supervisor. As I have said all along, I will not accept the paid position of Road Master if elected. With the saddening news of the closing of the Homer City Power Plant, my stance will continue to be a Supervisor only. The wages I would be paid as a Road Master can be used to help lessen any possible budget deficits due to the loss of this tax base.
As a life long resident of the township and a volunteer fire fighter for the last 14 years, I have met countless people and have been a part of many projects throughout our communities. This work will continue. As a supervisor I will assist with budgeting, grants, and meet with township residents as needed. Along with this, I will help the other supervisors as needed and attend all township meetings.
