Just a reminder, we’ll be closed today!

The Coralville Community Food Pantry will be closed Saturday, September 5 in honor of the Labor Day holiday. All in-pantry and home delivery services will be unavailable that day, but will resume Tuesday, September 8.

Who’s ready for some food and community? 🙋‍♀️

We hope you join us for our Free Community Picnic On The Lawn at the Coralville Public Library on Thursday, September 10 from 5-7pm!

This meal is a kickoff celebration of the 10-day long Welcoming Week in Johnson County. Bring your picnic blanket, lawn chairs (some seating will be provided), gather your friends & family, and come enjoy delicious food and good conversation with neighbors.

Today marks the final day at the pantry for UI Social Work student Kati Rodgers, who has officially wrapped up her summer BASW practicum! All summer long, Kati's warmth and positivity seeped into our daily programs. One of her primary contributions and learning opportunities was in assisting with our Summer Lunch Program--where Kati tackled just about every task thrown her way, including greeting children and families as they visited each day.

Kati, we will miss having you in our office and wish you all the best in your next chapter! Please don't be a stranger!
