Brig. Gen. John D. Rhodes, commanding general of the 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), administered the oath of reenlistment for six U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers during the Washington Wild Things vs. Joliet Slammers baseball game June 14, 2025.
The U.S. Army also celebrated its 250th birthday. Since its establishment in 1775, U.S. Army Soldiers, families and civilians have supported our nation, bearing true faith and allegiance to the country, the U.S. Constitution, the Army, their units and fellow team members.

U.S. Army Reserve public affairs mass communication Soldiers with the 354th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment recently visited the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum for a staff ride and skills refresher.

The Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, finished construction in 1910 and is responsible for being one of the only memorials in the United States dedicated solely to all service members, regardless of their branch of service, status, era or conflict. Their mission is to preserve a lasting tribute to those men and women who unselfishly gave of themselves in serving their country, particularly during the American's conflicts.

In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the 354th MPAD has reviewed and adjusted its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. As a result, certain posts have been removed, are in a process of being removed, or modified to maintain consistency with federal guidance and uphold the integrity of our official communication channels. Content will be archived in accordance with DA PAM 25-403.
The 354th MPAD remains committed to transparency, professionalism, and adherence to DoD directives while continuing to engage with our community in a manner that reflects our core values.

U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers with the 354th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment trained for an upcoming live-fire weapons qualification on the Army Engagement Skills Trainer II at the Tech. Sgt. Vernon McGarity U.S. Army Reserve Center in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, Feb. 9. The virtual simulator allows Soldiers to improve marksmanship skills.

The 354th MPAD hosted a change of command ceremony welcoming Maj. Dustin Gabus as the incoming commander at the Tech. Sgt. Vernon McGarity U.S. Army Reserve Center in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, Dec. 7, 2024. The unit also farewelled its departing commander Capt. Jori French.

Sgt. Shane Killeen chose an amazing location to be pinned as an NCO while covering the annual Guardian Response training exercise as a public affairs mass communication noncommissioned officer at the Muscatatuck Training Center. This specific location serves as a notional flooded town for search and rescue teams to practice their life-saving skills.
