Patrol Officer Mason Skoff
I have been a police officer for about half a year in Kennedy Township. I graduated Montour High School in 2017 and grew up in Robinson Township. During my academy training I earned the Quest for the Best Award. I wanted to become a police officer from watching the actions of police and first responders during a car accident I was involved in. I also look up to my cousin who has been a police officer for over ten years. I am patient with people and let them vent their issues without judgement and believe that will continue to help me in my career. When I am not at work I enjoy lifting weights, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, ice hockey, fishing, and going to the shooting range.

Back to School! Reminder for drivers to please be vigilant and cautious for children and school buses. Police will continue to follow buses and violations, including overtaking a school bus, may be cited. Be aware that convictions can result in license suspension.

2026 KENNEDY TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY DAYS CELEBRATION Carnival Rides, Games, Food, Entertainment, and More August 12th and 13th from 6pm-10 pm August 14th from 6pm-11pm August 15th from 4pm till fireworks (fireworks at dusk). FIREMAN’S PARADE to be held at 7pm on August 15th- line up to begin at 6pm at Kennedy Police Station.

If you purchased a first responder’s sign from our police department and the signed has been destroyed or the lettering has come off, please bring what remains of your sign to the station and will replace it for you. Free of charge. If you have not purchased one we still have them available for a suggested donation of $25.

Patrol Officer Chris “Chipper” Weber
I graduated from Girard High School in 2012. I moved from Erie to Pittsburgh to earn a Bachelors in Criminology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I enjoyed Pittsburgh and decided to stay to get my ACT 120 certification. I began my law enforcement career as a part time officer in Kennedy Township and Stowe Township in 2018-2019. I found a full-time job at the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office but decided to come back to Kennedy Township for a full-time job one year ago. I chose to come back to Kennedy Township because it truly is a great place to live, work, and worship. Growing up I always wanted to help others and make a positive impact in the community. You can find me spending time walking my dog “Sasha” around Fairhaven Park and Montour Trail or challenging myself on my TikTok ().
