Digital Literacy 101: Libby & Phone Apps

Want to feel more confident using your smartphone? Join us on Monday, August 31 at 1:00 p.m. to learn the basics of navigating phone apps, including Libby, the free app that lets you borrow ebooks and audiobooks with your library card.

This class is free, but registration is required. To register, call us at (606) 528-6366, register at the link below, or stop by the library in person.

Whether you're brand new to smartphones or just want a little extra help, we're happy to help you learn!

🍎📚 Wishing Corbin and Knox Schools the very best start to a new school year!

We had such a memorable summer Unearthing a Story with you all! From our ice cream kickoff and weekly prizes to all the adventures, activities, crafts, and fun in between, pool party hosted by the Corbin Recreation center, this summer wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing families, staff, volunteers, and community partners. 💛

A special thank you to School of Innovation’s Loren Queener for teaching us all about dinosaurs, partnering with us for our Dinosaur Dig, and helping our young explorers earn their official Jr. Paleontologist certificates! 🦖🦴

We also shared plenty of laughs with Barry Mitchell’s puppet show and got to meet and learn about some fascinating animal friends thanks to Dr. Thomas Walker State Historic Site! 🐢🌿

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated prizes, shared their talents, or simply came along for the adventure. You helped make this summer one for the storybooks. 📖✨
