Members of the Corbin Garden Club, Garden Club Juniors, and community supporters gathered today at the office of Corbin Mayor Suzie Razmus to witness the signing of a proclamation recognizing June 7–13 as National Garden Week.

The Garden Club Junior members invite the community to participate in the activities and events planned throughout the week as we celebrate gardening, environmental stewardship, and community beautification.

SOI featured students and active junior participants are as follows: Clara Nunn, Raygan Smith, and Chloie Hash.

We are so thankful to our supporters! The Ossoli Club initially supported our robotics team with updated robotics. Now, they support our team as they prepare for a national robotics competition.

The Ossoli Club of Corbin proudly donated funds to support the Corbin School of Innovation First LEGO Robotics League team as they prepare to compete at the National Competition in New Jersey.

This is a historic achievement, marking the first time a Corbin school robotics team has advanced to a national competition. We are incredibly proud of these students and honored to support their journey as they represent our community on the national stage.

Our robotics team would love to have more kids attend our Jurassic STEM Event so we dropped the price to $35 all day! Come and join us for a fun day of learning coding, drones, Dino dig, and Kentucky fossils!

Corbin Independent Schools is excited to offer “Exploring Music” Summer Camp for Corbin students who were in grades 4-8 during the 2025-2026 school year!

This free camp will give students the opportunity to enjoy a fun week of music-making including ukulele, piano, bucket drumming, singing, games, and many other engaging activities.

The camp will take place June 15th-19th from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM each day at Corbin Middle School. Register ASAP as spots are limited!
