Ms. Patrick’s ELA students created abstract reflection paintings. They painted the tone and mood they discovered after reading the poem called “Mother To Son” by Langston Hughes. They had to choose two each . Students will participate in a gallery walk and reflect on each other’s piece. They also have to guess the tone and mood. This activity deepens their knowledge on how perspectives differ through art.
