We just posted a fundraising update on Patronicity!

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we've raised $24,032 toward rebuilding Skaters’ Cabin—and that's before any matching funds are added. Since the Cordova Community Foundation announced their $20,000 match, we've raised an additional $11,155!

Your donation still doubles its impact.

🏀 Join our 5-week 3-on-3 Basketball League starting next week! Open to ages 8–12 (3:45–5:00 PM) and 12–17 (5:00–6:15 PM), every Thursday from June 18–July 16. Build skills, teamwork, and confidence while improving dribbling, shooting, and defense. All skill levels welcome, with a tournament to wrap up the season. Come hustle, learn, and have fun on the court!

Russin-Cordova Pickleball Tournament

Join us next Saturday, June 13th for a special Pickleball Tournament honoring the Russin family as they prepare to leave Cordova. This tribute event features a rotating partner format, allowing players of all skill levels to compete in one of three divisions.

Register as an individual and enjoy a fun, social round-robin experience with different partners throughout the event. Games will be played to 11 points during a 3-hour session from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM.

Come celebrate and thank this dedicated family for their many contributions to our community while making lasting memories on the courts. We hope to see you there!

Join us every Tuesday, starting June 9th, from 4:00–5:30 PM at Hollis Henrichs Park on the grassy field for an afternoon of fun, games, and community! We'll be playing soccer, kickball, field hockey, ultimate frisbee, football, and plenty of other group games as we hang out and stay active together. This is for all ages!

In the event of heavy rain, we'll move the fun indoors and meet at the gym in Bidarki. Come ready to play, make friends, and have a great time!

Nothing says summer in Parks & Recreation quite like putting the swim platform in the water!

The platform is officially in and ready for another season of swimming, splashing, and summer fun.

For Parks & Recreation staff, it's one of the sure signs that summer has arrived, right up there with opening seasonal facilities and seeing everyone get outside and enjoy all that Cordova has to offer.

A huge thank you to our Maintenance Department for all their hard work getting the platform in place and helping prepare for another great summer season. We couldn't do it without you!

Now the only question is... who will be the first to jump off?
