The Village is in need of an additional lifeguard at the Village Beach. The position pays $20 per hour.
Applicants must be fully certified in Waterfront Lifeguarding Skills and have valid Red Cross First Aid certification. Applications are available on the Village website under Forms & Applications and can be emailed to [email protected].

The Village is seeking part-time Park Attendants for Pagenstecher Park. The Attendant is responsible for monitoring activity in the Park, distributing games equipment as needed and keeping the bathroom stocked and clean. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for $20 per hour. Applications for employment can be found on the Village website & dropped off at Village Hall or emailed to [email protected].

The Village of Corinth is working with the owner of 2 Palmer Avenue to facilitate the demolition of the old church building. The work is intended to begin within the next week. During the demolition, please stay clear of the area. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during the partial closures of Main Street and Palmer Avenue.

Fire Hydrant Flushing Schedule

The Dept. of Public Works will be flushing fire hydrants Monday through Friday, April 13th through April 17th, between 6:00AM and 2:30PM as follows:

April 13th – 14th : Flushing will occur on Main St. and all areas east of Main Street.
April 15th – April 17th : Flushing will occur at all areas west of Main Street.

Residents are urged not to wash clothes during flushing as water may be discolored, and also to flush hot water tanks.

Effective April 6th the Dept. of Public Works will begin pick up of leaves and brush at curbside. Leaves need to be in a separate pile and not bagged. Brush, no larger than 1” in diameter and no longer than 4 feet, needs to be placed in another separate pile.
Village Code 426-8 prohibits encumbering Village public property at any time except for specified publicized pick-up periods. No garbage, junk, electronics, etc. should be placed at the curb. Only leaves and brush will be collected.
