It’s always exciting when middle school experiences come to our elementary campus! After raising baby chicks for a science unit, Mr. C’s class brought them to visit the PreK classrooms. Our littlest Warriors loved the hands-on lesson about how the chicks were raised! ❤️🖤

Congrats to the 21 students who are members of the new Corinth High School ACT 30 Club! These students achieved a composite or superscore of 30 or higher on the national ACT assessment.

Members include Oliver Bailey, Melissa Bullock, Ella Bumpus, Mazzie Castille, Henry Ellenburg, Jack Frame, Kate Frame, Donovan Harville, Neveah Leanord, Ivy Monaghan, Declan Murphree, Ben Pham, Ellie Kate Reeves, Thomas Senf, Caleb Simmons, Tucker Skelton, Annie Stanley, Braxton Stevens, Sam Walker, Jackson Wigginton and Ethan Young.

With approximately 1.5 million students taking the ACT annually across the United States, reaching this score places our students in the top 6% of test-takers nationwide. This honorary club serves as a testament to the dedication, intellectual rigor, and hard work of our students.

Our PreK and high school students collaborated on PreK’s “Things that Grow” learning unit!

Ms. Boler, the horticulture teacher at Corinth High School, and her students visited CES to share real-life plants for students to observe and touch. They also showed different sizes and colors of seeds, discussed what plants need to survive, explained how to germinate plants using leaves, showed the required tools needed to ensure proper care, and used a bean to show the life cycle of a plant from a seed to a mature plant.

Each student got their very own grass seed cup planted by the high school students. ❤️🖤
