What a great weekend to be a firefighter in Alcorn County.

Biggersville Fire & Rescue had the privilege of hosting a county-wide training day at a donated structure. This valuable opportunity allowed members to sharpen essential fireground skills while also strengthening coordination and teamwork between multiple agencies operating on the same scene.

We would like to thank Farmington Fire & Rescue, Glen FireRescue, and Wenasoga Fire Department for joining us and helping make this training a success.

We also extend our appreciation to the Corinth Fire Department, Corinth, MS for providing their door prop, which added tremendous value to the hands-on training.

A special thank you to Ms. Jenniffer Palmer and her team with Strategic Solutions for Families, Inc for providing lunch and for sharing insight into the critical role their team plays within our county schools.

We would also like to thank Alex Williams Media for coming out and helping us document this event.

Training like this strengthens our departments and ultimately helps us better serve and protect our community
