Last Friday, Scott Wood from the Georgia Tech Research Institute visited the 6th-grade science classes to discuss the distances of the planets and scale. He then conducted an experiment for the students that demonstrated the vacuum of space. Super Cool!

The following students and staff were chosen for Rebel of the Month for the month of May 2026. Students from each grade level are chosen by teachers. Staff winners are nominated by their peers. May’s character trait was honesty. Students and staff were treated to a pizza lunch provided by The Torch. Students also received a special Rebels of the Month t-shirt. Staff winners received a gift card provided by Way2Baked.
