šŸ¶ Happy National Dog Day from adoptable Finn! šŸ¶

As you can see, Finn LOVES toys. In fact, one of his favorite ways to greet you is to bring you a toy. But as much as he loves his toys, thereā€™s one thing he loves even more: you.

Finn is an absolute love bug. He loves being petted and will happily abandon a toy if it means getting some cuddles. Kneel down beside him and heā€™ll twirl himself right into your lap. He just wants to be close to his people.

And thereā€™s even more to love about Finn:

Rocket would like to blast off into your life! šŸ’„

Despite his boisterous name, he is easygoing and incredibly sweet. He loves receiving attention, snacking on Churus, and showing you what a good boy he is. A few things he would like you to know he is:

šŸš€ Affectionate with everyone and has a gentle personality
šŸš€ Highly motivated by food and deserves all the treats
šŸš€ Litter trained, keeps his area clean, and has good manners
šŸš€ Comfortable and friendly around other cats
šŸš€ 2Ā½ years old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated

Rocket is an easygoing guy who would be perfectly happy spending his days getting attention, enjoying good food, and hanging out with his people. He doesnā€™t ask for much, just plenty of love.

If youā€™re a solitary, slightly-grumpy person looking for a companion who isnā€™t clingy and is also grumpy and solitary (but less so with you), then we may have found your match.

Tuesday is a special girl who needs a special adopter willing to appreciate her personality and give her a chance.

Things Tuesday loves:
šŸ§” Temptation treats
šŸ§” Lounging and observing
šŸ§” Post-It Notes (yes, really)
šŸ§” Tuesdays

Things Tuesday hates:

šŸ’” Having her boundaries tested
šŸ’” Getting fed late

Tuesday is 6 years old and already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. She has been at the shelter for 14 months after being surrendered by the family who originally rescued her as a feral kitten.

She may not be everyoneā€™s cat, and sheā€™s perfectly okay with that. Sheā€™s looking for HER person: someone who understands that love doesnā€™t always mean having a cat glued to your side. Sometimes, it looks like quietly sharing a room, respecting each otherā€™s space, and, most importantly, making sure dinner is on time. šŸ§”

We posted about Tank yesterdayā€¦ now meet his two children! šŸ¾

Their dad is a Rottweiler and their mom is a Pit Bull, so these two are likely to grow into medium-to-large dogs. They are currently 16 weeks old, neutered/spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

šŸ¶ Nova (tanner markings) is sweet and affectionate but a little more independent. She loves attention but also enjoys setting off to investigate the world around her. Sheā€™s curious, confident, and always ready for an adventure.

šŸ¶ TJ (lighter markings) is the affectionate, people-focused sibling. He loves toys, playtime, and attention, and he already seems eager to please. He learned ā€œsitā€ quickly and often looks to people for guidance and praise.

Both are typical puppies: energetic, playful, teething, and still learning! Neither is house-trained yet, and both will need patient, consistent training, socialization, and plenty of positive reinforcement. They love wrestling and playing together, but theyā€™re ready to find families of their own.

Meet Tank, a 1Ā½-year-old, 90-pound Rottie with a huge heart and an even bigger personality! Heā€™s confident, playful, affectionate, and absolutely loves people -especially when butt scratches are involved.

Tank is smart, goofy, and friendly, but heā€™s also boisterous and still learning his manners. Heā€™ll need continued work on basic obedience and leash walking, along with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, structure, and consistency. Heā€™s mostly house-trained, knows ā€œsitā€ (sometimes!), and would love a home where he can be part of the action with his people and potentially a canine sibling.

There is one important medical consideration: Tank was hit by a car earlier in life and has an old, painful injury to his left hip. He gets around well, but the injury may require further veterinary evaluation and care. Otherwise, Tank is healthy and already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

He needs a confident adopter who understands the breed and is willing to put in the work. He may not be perfectly behaved yet, but he has so much potential and a whole lot of love to give. ā¤ļø

At just 1Ā½ years old, Finn is already showing us what a wonderful companion he can be. Heā€™s dog-friendly, house-trained, and a huge love bug who absolutely loves attention and pets. When he gets excited, youā€™ll get the cutest butt wiggles, and he may even bring you a stuffy! šŸ„°

Finn is the kind of dog who would love to be by your side, whether youā€™re heading out on an adventure or just spending a quiet day together. Iā€™m sure many of you recognize Miss Kitty. For over a year, Miss Kitty was our playroom cat ā€” greeting visitors, hanging out with staff, and soaking up every bit of attention she could get. We are incredibly happy to finally say that Miss Kitty is ADOPTABLE! šŸŽ‰

At 5 years old, Miss Kitty is a total people-cat. She loves being around people and has always made the most of her time with staff and visitors. She has lived with dogs before and may be comfortable sharing her home with a canine companion, but she would prefer to be the only cat in the household.

After waiting so long for her chance, she deserves a home where she can be someoneā€™s spoiled companion instead of the shelterā€™s resident greeter. If youā€™ve met Miss Kitty during her time here, you already know how special she is, and we imagine she will get adopted quickly.

Meet Squirrel, our newest addition! This little guy is always ready for his next adventure. Heā€™s playful, curious, and has plenty of kitten energy to share. Once heā€™s done zooming around, heā€™s happy to slow down for some attention and affection.

Squirrel is still getting settled in, but heā€™s already showing us what a fun, outgoing little personality he has. If youā€™re looking for a kitten who will keep you entertained and bring plenty of energy into your home, Squirrel might be your guy! šŸ¾

Weā€™ve been a little hesitant to post about Victorā€¦ because, selfishly, we kind of want to keep him all to ourselves. šŸ„¹

Victor is shy when you first meet him, but it doesnā€™t take long for him to decide youā€™re okay. Once he warms up, he gets genuinely excited to see you, sticks close by, and happily soaks up all the pets youā€™re willing to give him.

Heā€™s also incredibly easy to have around. He knows ā€œsit,ā€ is house-trained, and will quietly hang out beside you while you work or take care of things. Then heā€™ll randomly remember that heā€™s a young dog and break into a few zoomies or enthusiastically throw a toy into the air. šŸ˜‚

Victor seems interested in other dogs and will offer them playful bows, so a canine friend may be in his future. We also wouldnā€™t be surprised if he did well with cats because of his gentle nature - we've yet to hear him bark or growl at anything.

Heā€™s around five years old, 60lbs, neutered, and vaccinated. He is good-natured and overall a calm, easy-going boy. We suppose we should probably share him with the rest of the world. šŸ˜œ
