🚨 Exciting News from the Department 🚨
Last night marked a huge milestone for our team as we officially moved into our new satellite station in Holcombe!
This new station allows us to staff and respond with two trucks, improving our readiness for any call. With several of our members now able to respond from a closer location, we’re able to provide faster, more efficient service to our entire community—no matter where the emergency is.
This project wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from our community. We are truly grateful for the donations and encouragement that helped make this station a reality.
Thank you for continuing to support your local fire department! 🚒

Thank you, Northwestern Bank, for the very generous donation towards our fund for a new SXS with tracks! This will bring us closer to our goal.
The purchase of another SXS will help us reach people faster in case of emergencies with tough conditions that a normal vehicle cannot get to.
If you would like to help us reach our goal, please reach out to us.
We appreciate all the continued support from our amazing community and are very proud to serve you all.

🔥 Spring Fire Season Reminder – Stay Safe & Informed 🔥

As conditions dry out this spring, fire danger can change quickly. Before doing any outdoor burning, it’s important to check current restrictions.

📢 Check Daily Burn Status Here:
https://apps.dnr.wi.gov/wisburn/ #/

🚫 Why it matters:
• Burning restrictions may be tightened or lifted daily
• Wind and dry vegetation increase wildfire risk
• Violating restrictions can lead to fines and safety hazards

✅ Before You Burn:
• Check the Wisconsin DNR WisBurn map every day
• Follow all local and state regulations
• Never burn on windy days
• Keep water and tools nearby

Let’s work together to prevent wildfires and protect our communities this season.

The Cornell Area Fire Department ended the year with a total of 165 total incidents in 2025, including 90 fire calls and 51 EMS responses.
Our firefighters also committed to ongoing readiness with 12 monthly meetings and 12 department trainings throughout the year.
A big part of our work included structure fires, vehicle accidents, utility emergencies, mutual aid support to neighboring departments, and more — all focused on keeping our community safe day and night.
To everyone who supports us — from our families, residents, surrounding townships, and partner agencies — thank you. Your continued trust and encouragement help us serve better every year.
Stay safe, and we look forward to continuing to protect our community in 2026!
