Decriminalization is not the same as legalization. As citizens, at the local level, we cannot change the Ohio Revised Code. We can change the penalties for these offenses. Let the police continue to waste the time and energy to drag people into court. Only to find out there is no fine, no jail time, and no court costs. The judge has to do their job and follow the ordinance. It won't take much time for the police to just quit charging for ma*****na.
