Tomorrow is the day! Polls for the primary election open at 6 AM and stay open until 9 PM. Our candidates need your vote to make it to the general election in November. Get out and vote!

We have a number of Aaron Gies and Tom DiNapoli yard signs available to be picked up at our office at 71 W Market St!

You can stop by tonight and tomorrow from 5:00 - 7:30 pm to pick up a sign. Signs are first come, first serve. We’ll be handing out any signs not picked up at our Pride booth this Saturday!

We’re excited to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community members next week at the Southern Finger Lakes Pride festival! Some of our committee members stopped by our office yesterday to put the finishing touches on decorations and goodies for our booth.

The Meta and John Spiegler Holocaust Remembrance Lecture returns to the CMOG Auditorium on Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00, and once again the Library will participate in the program. This year's speaker, Dori Katz, will talk about her experiences as a child that lived through the Holocaust. Her presentation will be followed by a Q & A and light refreshments.
The Library will make available 40 free copies of a book recommended by Dr. Katz, Lola Lafon’s "When You Listen to This Song" and Card Carrying Books & Gifts will be selling additional copies of the book.
Since 2007, the Meta and John Spiegler Holocaust Remembrance committee has brought speakers to Corning, NY so that we will never forget the impact of the Holocaust and anti-semitism on ordinary people. Meta Spiegler wanted young people especially to learn the importance of respect and tolerance.
