Water's Edge Village School

Water's Edge Village School Water's Edge Village School, a public tuition-free charter school, opened in Corolla's old schoolhouse with 15 students in 2012.

It has grown to be a K-8 with 50 students, soon to occupy two buildings thanks to a succesfull capital campaign! In August 2012 Water's Edge Village School opened in Corolla's old schoolhouse, which closed in 1957. Students on the Northern Outer Banks once again have a local elementary school option.

Today, we had the honor of welcoming an incredible group of teachers to Broken Plate Kitchen for a special Teacher Appreciation dinner. 🍎✨
