Happy Spring Break to all our visitors! This week, be on the look 👀 out for more little egg surprises. Springtime is a time of many different religious celebrations. In April, you will find books in our little library about different religious practices. In our home, we strive to learn about the different religions our neighbors practice. This helps us understand others better. If you have a book about religion that you would like to contribute to the library, please feel free to drop it off. Remember, each of us is special and it’s our duty to learn about one another’s beliefs during our time on earth. Doing so helps understand and show compassion for one another.

New book alert! What Should Danny Do? Is a delightful book about the power of choices. Danny is your typical child who learns that the choices he makes can have a positive or negative effect on his day. You get to help Danny choose how he will react to situations and see how those choices unfold.

We hope you enjoy this book as much as we did.

Please be sure to bring back any books you’ve borrowed and have finished reading. We have quite a few books that have been checked out for a couple of months and not returned. In order for us to continue sharing books with all of you, we need borrowed books to make their way back.

We hope you are having a fun on this windy Sunday. Maybe you’re reading a new book that’s taking you on an adventure far away. If you need a new one, we’ve got lots in our library today.
A little bit about us:
We have lived here for about 4 years. Brooke and Nora are your library stewards and I am the one who makes sure the library is well cared for.
We started the library as a way to share our love of books with all of you. The library is an extension of us and a reflection of our values.

Two summers ago, our home was broken into and we hid while calling 911. The man who broke in did lots of damage in the 5 minutes we waited for the police and the twins and I were very scared. After that, we thought of moving. We even had deposits down on a new neighborhood. But when covid hit, the builder cancelled. Since then, we decided to stay and make our home a place that brings joy. That’s why the shutters and door are bright and the landscaping full of color. It helps us heal. Getting to see all of you enjoying books has been a great gift to us. It makes us so happy that you are all enjoying the library.

Each of you is a beautiful warrior goddesswho can make a difference in the world just by caring for the planet and caring for others.
