The Corona Fire Department partnered with Corona-Norco Unified School District to bring another successful round of Teen CERT to campus this spring at Corona High School, Santiago High School, and Centennial High School. Over the last few months, approximately 180 students completed hands-on emergency preparedness training through the Teen Community Emergency Response Team (Teen CERT) program. The students learned valuable skills including disaster preparedness, light search and rescue, fire safety, team organization, and basic medical operations. Designed to build leadership skills and enhance emergency readiness, the Teen CERT program empowers students to respond confidently and effectively during times of crisis while supporting their families, schools, and community. We are proud of these students for their commitment to preparedness and public service. Congratulations to all Teen CERT graduating Class of 2026 πŸ‘
