As we celebrate our Nation’s birthday at the annual Corona 4th of July Parade, the Corona Cinco de Mayo Committee is proudly entering a float showcasing another chapter of our city’s rich history. If you are a past queen - we have a spot on our float.

I got a call from one of our board members: “We need American flags.”

I replied, “I think I can help.”

So I showed up with 13 flags.

I figured if 13 colonies were enough to start a nation, they ought to be enough for one parade float.
