Yesterday evening, members of the Corona Police Officers Association proudly participated in the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.

As we carried the Flame of Hope alongside our law enforcement partners, we were reminded that this event is about much more than a run—it is about supporting athletes who inspire us through their determination, courage, and unwavering spirit.

We are honored to support Special Olympics and help shine a light on the incredible achievements of these athletes.

Last Thursday, members of the Corona Police Honor Guard proudly represented our department and the Corona Police Officers Association at the Orange County Peace Officers’ Memorial.

Standing alongside law enforcement agencies from across Orange County, they helped honor the 54 officers and deputies who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Memorial ceremonies like this remind us that while agencies serve different communities, we are united in honoring those who gave their lives in service to others.

The ceremony was especially meaningful as we also remembered and honored the father of one of our association members, whose name is among those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to his community.

Their sacrifice, courage, and dedication will never be forgotten.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation and our communities.

This Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of those who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy each day. Their service and dedication will never be forgotten.

The Corona Police Officers Association proudly joins our community in remembering our fallen heroes and honoring the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

May we never forget their sacrifice. 🇺🇸

Last night, members of the Corona Police Honor Guard Team proudly stood alongside law enforcement agencies from across Riverside County during the annual Riverside County Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony.

The ceremony included Honor Guard presentations, a bagpipe performance, the riderless horse tribute, a 21-gun salute, the reading of fallen officers’ names, and recognitions for the families of the fallen.

Together, we honored the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities and remembered the legacy they left behind.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The Corona Police Officers Association is deeply saddened by the passing of K9 Jarco following sudden medical complications.

K9 Jarco began his service with the Corona Police Department in June 2020 and proudly served the City of Corona alongside Corporal Sean Slane until May 2026.

Throughout his career, Jarco helped protect both officers and the community, responding to thousands of calls for service and assisting in the apprehension of violent offenders.

He also became a favorite at community events, especially among children, where he helped create positive connections between the department and the families we serve.

Jarco’s dedication, service, and loyal partnership with Corporal Slane left a lasting impact on our department and community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Corporal Slane, his family, and the entire K9 unit during this difficult time. Jarco will never be forgotten.

Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we honor the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities and this nation.

This week, members of the Corona Police Officers Association traveled to Washington, D.C. for National Police Week, standing alongside agencies from across the country to remember and honor the fallen.

We remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty, support the families they left behind, and stand united in preserving their legacy. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

We also remember Town Marshal Grant Alexander, who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the City of Corona in 1913. His legacy remains a lasting part of our department’s history and a reminder of the courage carried by those who wear the badge.

Today, and every day, we honor those who gave everything in service to others.

God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He moulded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.
