Discovered a really cool cafe in Imperial Beach - with an amazing interior but an unfortunate view of the EconoLube - but still, it was welcoming and immaculate and Anna offered up an affordable meal. They have four of five types of daily freshly made pastas - from Spinach to Gluten Free, home made sauces, fresh crispy garlic bread, and liquid sweetner and sugar 'one pump or two' containers.

We had the pasta and meatball special - I had a large Mozzarella stuffed melt in your mouth meatball with tasy beef ragu sauces over multi-grain spagetti and Marie had the same except over flat spinach noodles. Included for under $10 per we also got a fresh garlic soaked side salad and the best garlic bread I've had in a long time. And they topped off that meal with really delicious fresh homemade dill picklers. For desert we each had a bowl of made on the premises fresh vanilla ice cream and a tasty cup of Java.

I hope they survive (such a North Park type place in the heart of kick back IB...)
