California Professional Firefighters (CPF) represents 38,000 professional firefighters and emergency medical service personnel across the state. Our mission is to protect and advocate for the rights, wages, benefits, and working conditions of our members. When you are on the front line protecting the public, CPF has your back. Huge congratulations 👏 to of for being elected the new President of CPF! “Doc” is a strong proven labor leader and we look forward to your strong leadership and support in the years to come!

All proceeds go to Firefighter Aid and directly support mental health initiatives for your first responders and the responders of the county.

The would like to cordially welcome our two newest Lateral Firefighter Paramedics. Please join us in welcoming Daniel Holian & Christina Fecteau. Both come to us with years of prior firefighting experience from their previous agencies. Over the course of the last two months both have been working very hard & successfully completed a comprehensive paramedic field training & mini fire academy. Welcome to Coronado!

would like to congratulate Fire Captain, Andrew Dorosan on being selected as the 2024 Firefighter of the Year! Chief Summers summed up his efforts and wrote: “Andrew has exemplified the highest standards of dedication and professionalism throughout his
career with the Coronado Fire Department. Known for his consistently positive attitude, Andrew
has been a driving force in fostering a supportive and uplifting work environment among his
peers. As the lead of our training cadre, he has been instrumental in overseeing the development,
growth, and continual refinement of our probationary manual, as well as the department’s spec
and spill manuals, working closely with his team to ensure these critical resources remain current
and effective. His commitment to the growth and development of our personnel is evident
through his tireless efforts mentoring and preparing our firefighters for the challenges of the
profession. Andrew’s passion for excellence and his unwavering support of his colleagues make
him a truly deserving recipient of the Firefighter of the Year award.” Congratulations Andrew!

🔥 OVERHEAD DEPLOYMENT 🔥 Engineer Robert Phelps has been deployed to the in Shasta County in Northern California working as a fireline paramedic. Hot weather, low humidity and steep terrain have made this a challenging fire for the crews working. The fire is currently 9,563 acres and 5% contained. are working hard to protect lives and property locally, regionally and statewide! Keep up the great work and be safe up there

This week members of the Coronado Firefighters Association have been hard at work responding to medical and fire calls, as well as getting into the surrounding neighborhoods to provide community education.

We are pride ourselves on providing excellent service, and are passionate about sharing what our day-to-day job entails.
