Our junior bakers had an unforgettable day at our Flour Power Baking Workshop! 🧁πŸͺ From mixing up homemade crepes πŸ₯ž and getting creative with LEGO builds 🧱✨ to discovering the fun of reflections in the window πŸͺŸπŸ€©, every moment was filled with curiosity πŸ”, laughter πŸ˜‚, and hands-on learning πŸ™Œ.

πŸ”¬πŸ§ͺ This summer, Coronado Recreation is hosting four exciting Science Camps at the Community Center! 🌟 Camps run Monday through Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and are packed with hands-on experiments, creative projects, and scientific discoveries. πŸš€

πŸ§«πŸ” At the Kids Science Experiments Camp (June 22–26), children ages 6–11 will have fun while exploring science. Campers will mix, build, and experiment to make potions πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈ, giant bubbles 🫧, and more while discovering how things work.

🟒✨ During the Slime and Science Experiment Lab (July 6–10), kids ages 6–11 can create glow-in-the-dark slime πŸŒ™, magnetic slime 🧲, and silly putty-like slime. They’ll also make optical illusions πŸ‘€, create exciting reactions πŸ’₯, build Lava Lamps πŸ”΄, explore diaper jelly, play games 🎲, and work on fun projects.

🍦🍭 If your child loves food, the Sweet Edible Science Camp (July 20–24) is perfect for ages 6–11. Campers will learn about chemistry βš—οΈ, physics βš™οΈ, acids and bases πŸ§ͺ, freezing points ❄️, and more. Whether your child is new to theater or already loves being on stage, everyone will work together to put on a mini-show based on a popular children’s movie or TV series. 🎬🎀
