Last week, students from Sarita Elementary in Kenedy County visited the Food Bank to learn about healthy eating with our Nutrition Team before rolling up their sleeves to help sort and inspect food for neighbors facing food insecurity. The students also learned more about how a food bank operates and how food is sourced to help feed families in need.

Sarita Elementary is also one of our participating schools in Share Your Christmas, helping collect food and monetary donations each year to support families in their community. Thank you, Sarita Elementary, for helping make a difference! 🍎

Join us for a special H-E-B Sponsored Mobile Distribution Event on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown!

📍 1213 Terry Shamsie Blvd, Robstown, TX
🚪 Gates open at 6:00 AM — no early birds, please!

A huge thank you to the amazing employees of Turner Industries for their continued support in helping fight hunger across the Coastal Bend!

Through their 11th Annual Race to Re-Stock the Food Bank Food Drive, employees collected more than 10 donation barrels totaling 1,423 pounds of food to help serve local neighbors in need.
