There have been reports of minor flooding throughout the city. First responders are actively assisting stranded motorists at this time. City departments are in the process of identifying affected roadways and installing protective barriers. Continue to exercise caution and avoid flooded areas.

A flood watch has been issued for all of South Texas beginning late tonight and continuing through Monday. Multiple rounds of showers and storms are expected over the next 5 days, and with the rain we have already seen, flash flooding will be a concern.
