Wes is a proud Texan, Marine, and advocate for working families. He grew up working on his grandparent’s farm and learned early the value of hard work and endurance in rural America. He stocked shelves, picked to***co, and worked in factories to put himself through college-- before jumping at the opportunity to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming a fighter pilot for the U.S. Wes earned his win

gs after completing fight training at the Naval Air Stations in Corpus Christi and Kingsville in 1995. That same year Wesley met and married his beloved wife and started a family. Wesley has served for 25 years, completed four deployments, and is still active in the United
States Marine Corps Reserve at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He currently works full time as a pilot and since 2001 has served as a representative and leader in the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA)-- where he has helped fight for better working conditions for his fellow pilots and enhanced security for airline passengers in this country.

“Our nation is at a crossroads– and the leaders we elect will determine what kind of America our children and grandchildren will inherit. I've had the opportunity to achieve my American Dream. I can’t stand silently while that opportunity is pulled out of reach for so many of my fellow Americans. Our nation must forge a new trail; one that reignites the American Dream and reopens pathways of prosperity to every American willing to work hard and endure. That’s what I want to achieve why I’m running for U.S.
