Coastal Bend Center for Independent Living CBCIL serves people with disabilities in Coastal Bend communities to live independently and acheive their goals, all ages, all disabilities.

CBCIL is a consumer-controlled, non-residential, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Center for Independent Living. CBCIL is a cross-disability, consumer-controlled, non- residential, independent, nonprofit organization. CBCIL serves people with disabilities of all types and all ages in Coastal Bend communities. CBCIL promotes the full inclusion, equality, opportunity and participation of people with disabilities in every aspect of life.

CBCIL's monthly Hygiene Closet is returning this month on March 17, 2026. Join us from 10am to 12pm, 1st come, 1st served, at our 1537 7th St. location. This begins our 2026 8 month run of Hygiene closets from March to October, every 3rd Tuesday. A huge thank you to Superior HealthPlan for sponsoring the events.
