🇺🇸 VFW MILITARY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (MAP) & ADOPT-A-UNIT 🇺🇸

One of the greatest ways our VFW Posts can make a lasting impact is by building meaningful relationships with our active-duty military members and their families.

The Military Assistance Program (MAP) provides eligible VFW Posts and Departments with financial assistance to support events such as welcome home and deployment ceremonies, family days, holiday celebrations, unit BBQs, and appreciation events.

The Adopt-a-Unit Program allows VFW Posts to establish an ongoing partnership with local Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserve units and their families.

Shout out to the Vargas family for their generosity in making care packages for our homeless Veteran population. They will be delivered to the VFW District 6 Homeless Veteran Chair at the end of Oct for distribution in Nov.
