We post events and updates regarding our children, youth, college, and family ministries. John's United Methodist Church, families are important and that is why we offer many events to support families as they grow in their faith. On Sunday mornings there is Sunday School offered for all ages from 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM. Children, grades K-5, are welcome to join our children's Sunday School located i

n the upstairs of the Sanctuary. For more information visit: https://sjmethodist.com/children

Youth, grades 6-12, are welcome to join our youth Sunday School located in the Admin Building, Room 1. For more information visit: https://sjmethodist.com/youth

Adults, are welcome to join any number of classes that range from Bible Study to Current Issues. For more information visit: https://sjmethodist.com/adults

We also offer a growing youth group that meets every Sunday evening from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM, in the Admin Building, Room 1, where we play fun games, worship, and discuss topics that are relevant to the lives of our teens. We serve in missions through quarterly service projects and host many events that are faith filled fun.

A productive night at Youth JAM!

On Sunday, our youth put a little muscle into moving the fridge into our new Youth Room and then jumped into their final rehearsal for Youth Sunday!

This month in Youth JAM, we’re exploring some “J” characters of the Old Testament and their connection to another important “J” word—Justice!

Through the stories of Jeremiah, Jonah, Job, and Jacob, we’ll explore what God’s justice looks like, how God calls us to seek justice, what we can do when we experience injustice, and how we take responsibility when we are part of the problem.

Join us for Youth JAM Sundays from 5:30–7:00 p.m. as we discover what it means to live justly in our own lives and communities.

Yesterday was a great evening at the beach with Youth JAM! We had 10 students and 5 adults join us for our annual Beach Day, where we enjoyed swimming, games, snow cones, and plenty of time together.

It was a great way to wrap up the summer and enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made Beach Day such a great night!
