BCFS Health and Human Services-Corpus Christi BCFS Health and Human Services-Corpus Christi provides case management and assistance with education, employment and housing and parenting education.

Youth receiving services at BCFS Health and Human Services-Corpus Christi are between the ages of 15 and 26. Most have spent time in the foster care system or juvenile justice system, or have battled issues like homelessness, substance abuse or truancy. The center strives to serve youth, their families and community members to the best of their abilities, or refer them to an entity who can provide

the appropriate service. Services offered include:
- Preparation for Adult Living (PAL)
- After Care Case management
- Employment & Education Services; Texas Workforce Commission (TWC)
- Counseling, Case management, Parenting classes
- Assistance with education, employment and housing
- Education and Training Voucher (ETV) scholarships

We are pleased to announce that BCFS Health and Human Services President, Rosa Báez has been appointed to the Board of Directors for ABC of Southwest Texas, a nonprofit that serves families who have a child or youth with a chronic illness or special need.

Since 1982, ABC of Southwest Texas has provided families of Bexar County and surrounding areas with free comprehensive support including navigation and care coordination, evidence-based parent education, and community support programs. The organization supports more than 9,000 people each year, changing the lives of thousands who would have struggled without the extra care that ABC of Southwest Texas provides.

Rosa Báez, CPM, LCPAA, LCCA brings significant expertise in operations, compliance, and organizational excellence in the areas of health and social services. Known for her dedication to accountability and creating systems that support children, youth and families, Rosa’s leadership experience will play a key role in strengthening ABC’s infrastructure and long-term sustainability.

We are confident that Rosa’s commitment to the well-being of children and families will contribute to the success of ABC of Southwest Texas.
