SWIM TEAM:
When looking to join a swim team, you first should have some background knowledge from level four of swim lessons. The requirements for joining a swim team is being able to swim a full twenty-five-yard length (one lap) of the pool without stopping.
~There are many different leagues for people looking for a different intensity. There is metro league, Sundance, high school swim team, and then club. The intensity level goes in that order too. In each of those leagues there are different teams to choose from.
~As a swimmer it is very important to eat healthy and attend each practice as it is crucial to your performance. Your child will be a part of a team and it is highly recommended that they attend the team bonding events and pasta parties.
~There are dry land workouts that occur before practice. Being a part of all these events and workouts will help everyone individually and for as much hard work put in, a greater result will arise. Your child's skills with all four strokes will improve as well as the technique to fasten their
time in races.

SWIM LESSONS:
When one is looking to put their kid(s) in swim lessons, they first need to decide what level they belong in to get the right type of lesson. Age isn’t a factor when placing in a level, only experience and where they stand skill wise matters.
~Level one is (typically) for ages three and up and based on a skill level for those who need to get exposure and comfortable in the water.
~Level two is for any age and a skill level for those who are comfortable with the water and are ready to learn more skills like floating, swimming underwater, learning the different types of kicks and arm strokes.
~Level three is for any age and the skill level of learning the proper strokes. Here freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke will be taught.
~Level four is the last level and is an intro to swim team. Here the skills needed are knowing all three strokes from level three and then learning butterfly. In level four the swimmers will then swim a full twenty-five-yard length of a pool (one lap) of each stroke.
