🚨 Help Wanted... for a Fridge! 🚨

The Correctionville Swimming Pool is in need of a new refrigerator for the concession stand and pool operations.

Do you have a working fridge sitting unused in your garage, basement, or storage room? If you'd be interested in donating it to the City or selling it at a discounted price, we'd love to hear from you!

Please contact City Hall if you have a refrigerator that could help keep our pool running smoothly this summer.

📄A friendly reminder that City Council meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers, located at 312 Driftwood Street, which is today!

🎥While we do our best to record meetings and stream them on Facebook using our trusty "Owl," the best way to stay informed and engaged is to attend in person. Council meetings provide an opportunity to hear firsthand about city projects, upcoming plans, community concerns, and decisions that impact our residents.

Planning your week ahead? We've got a couple of events to add to your calendar! 📅

🏊 Water Aerobics Classes – June 12
Join us for one of two water aerobics sessions and give our pool a try! As an added bonus, admission to the pool for these classes is free. It's a great opportunity to get active, cool off, and experience our pool facilities.

Can't make one of the classes? Don't forget that we offer Adult Swim every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00–6:00 PM. Come walk laps, swim, or simply enjoy the pool in a relaxed environment without having to dodge the kids!

🚶‍♀️🍹 Sip & Steps – June 13
Grab your friends, bring a drink, and join Myah for a walk on the Union Bridge. It's a great way to enjoy a morning outdoors while catching up with friends and neighbors.

We've received a few calls at the City Clerk's Office, so we figured others might be wondering too... here's what's happening in Correctionville this weekend!

🌮 Food Truck Friday is at the golf course tonight.

🚒 Poker Run Fundraiser for our Emergency Responders is tomorrow, followed by a concert. We've heard there will be a couple of food trucks there in the evening as well!

🏊 And don't forget—the pool is open! It's shaping up to be a great weekend to cool off, grab some good food, enjoy some live music, and support a great cause.

☀️ Pool Day is the Best Day! 🏊‍♀️💦

Just a quick update from the Correctionville Pool!

If you stop by today and notice the waterslide isn't running, it's due to lifeguard staffing levels. To safely operate the slide along with the main pool, we need five lifeguards on duty. With summer sports, family vacations, camps, and other activities keeping everyone busy, there are occasionally days when we don't have enough staff available.

The good news? The baby pool will still be open for our youngest swimmers, and the main pool will be open all day for everyone looking to cool off, swim, and enjoy the sunshine, pending weather ⛈. 🌞🌊

We're also always looking for additional lifeguards to join our team! If you're interested in spending your summer at the pool while earning some extra money and serving the community, stop by the City Clerk's Office and pick up an application.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We hope to see you at the pool today—and back on the slide during Night Swim! 💙

Pool hours will be:
Sunday–Friday: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM and 6:00 PM–8:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
Additional information can be found on the flyer below.
Want to skip the line and save time on opening day? Stop by the clerk’s office to purchase your pool membership ahead of time!
Please also note that we do have a couple of fundraisers planned this year that will not accept pool passes for admission.

🍔 Food Truck Friday starts Friday, May 29th, at the Correctionville Golf Club! Open to the public with Shorty Walter Todd Smokehouse serving from 5:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.

🏓 Pickleball Night – Friday, May 29th from 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. at the pickleball courts next to the high school. Bring your paddle and a partner!

🏊 Pool Opening Day – Monday, June 1st

🛍️ Monday Market starts June 1st at Copeland Park from 5:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Free to be a vendor and free to attend!

🚒 5th Annual Correctionville Fire & Rescue Side-by-Side Poker Run
Saturday, June 6th from 1:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. All wheels welcome
• Silent auction: 12:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
• Blake Jack live music: 8:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. at the fire station. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Admission: $10
Proceeds help support the fire department so they can respond when our community needs them.
