This weekend, our officers participated in the 2nd Annual Juneteenth Kickball Tournament, joining community members in a day filled with friendly competition, teamwork, and celebration.

We would like to thank the organizers, participants, and everyone who came out to support this year’s event. We look forward to continuing to build positive relationships and making lasting memories with our community for years to come.

Please join us in welcoming our two newest officers, Officer Ordonez and Officer Rodriguez!

Officer Ordonez joins us from Hewitt Police Department where he has served since 2018. He is from Waco, Texas and is a Marine Corps Veteran. He currently holds a Master’s Peace Officer License and served as a hostage negotiator with Hewitt PD.

Officer Rodriguez is originally from Dallas, Texas. He joined Corsicana Police Department in December 2025 and successfully completed his law enforcement training and graduated from the Navarro College Police Academy on June 6th.

We look forward to their service, dedication, and commitment to the citizens of Corsicana.

Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 8:00 A.M.

💰 Starting Pay:
• Recruit I (Non-Certified): $65,408/year
• Recruit II (Certified): $66,533/year
• Police Officer: $70,720/year

✅ Minimum Qualifications:
• U.S. Citizen
• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Applicants with a GED must also have either:
– 24 months active-duty military service with honorable discharge, OR
– 12 college credit hours from an accredited college/university

📄 Required Documents:
• High school transcript or GED copy
• College transcripts (if applicable)
• DD-214 (if applicable)
• TCOLE certification (if applicable)
