As preparations begin for the 2026–2027 school year, we pause to reflect on an extraordinary individual who dedicated her career to making every child’s dreams possible. We had the honor of celebrating Mrs. Annett Betts with a heartfelt retirement reception. For more than three decades, Mrs. Betts has faithfully served CISD in the Physical Education Department, pouring compassion, encouragement, and love into generations of students. Her impact reaches far beyond the gymnasium walls, she inspired confidence, built character, and created lasting memories for countless children and staff members alike. While retirement marks the end of a remarkable chapter, it is certainly not goodbye. The legacy you leave behind will continue to live in the hearts of everyone you have touched. Thank you, Mrs. Betts, for your unwavering dedication, your servant’s heart, and the difference you made every single day. Wishing you endless joy, well-deserved rest, and abundant blessings in this next season of life. You will always be a part of the CISD and Carroll Elementary family.

As we conclude the year on an upbeat note, we take pride in having touched the lives of every child who walked through our doors. Summer is an opportunity for families to bond, communities to come together, and for personal growth. To our students, we didn't bid you farewell; we said 'until we meet again.' To our parents, rest assured our devotion to your children knows no bounds, and they are more than just students to us. They are the reason we do what we do. Take care of your precious ones, and when school resumes, we'll be here to nurture, educate, and care for them. Thank you for a great 2025-2026 school year!

As we begin to close out the 2025-2026 school year, we want every Carroll Tiger to know just how deeply loved and appreciated they are. This year has been filled with laughter, learning, growth, challenges, and unforgettable memories that we will carry with us long after the final bell rings.

At Carroll, we don’t count down the days to summer, because every day with our students is a gift. The thought of empty hallways, quiet classrooms, and missing the smiles of our little ones reminds us why we do what we do.

Instead, we choose to make every moment count, every event meaningful, and every student a priority. Thank you to our families, staff, and students for making this year so special. Carroll will always be more than a school, we are family, and once a Tiger, always a Tiger.
