Each Cub Scout Den usually has six to eight boys of similar age who meet a few times a month under the guidance of a trained Den Leader, typically with other parents in attendance. It is during these periodic meetings that scouts take on individual and group projects to meet the requirements for advancement to the next level in the Pack, following the guidelines spelled out in each scout manual. T

he Den meetings are fun and educational as well, and scouts proudly earn advancement badges as they work their way through each level in the Pack, one year at a time.
