Mark your calendars for the 2026–2027 Corunna Fire Department Fish Fry season! We’ll be firing up the fryers and serving up plenty of fish, baked beans, coleslaw, and all the fixings.

Exciting news for our department!
We are proud to announce that the Corunna Fire Department has officially been recognized as a Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Institution by the Indiana Emergency Medical Services Commission.
Our mission is to provide professional high-quality education to the next generation of first responders in a supportive environment.
We will continue to offer: Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) courses and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses.
We look forward to helping train the future first responders in Northeast Indiana. Follow us for more updates on future courses.

Join us from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Corunna Town Park (📍222 Michigan Ave.) for a fun-filled afternoon the whole family will enjoy!

🎆 Fireworks are meant to create memories… not emergencies. 🚒

As you celebrate this holiday weekend, remember that a few seconds of fun can lead to a lifetime of regret if fireworks aren’t used safely.

⚠️ Don’t let this be the last weekend someone has all 10 fingers.

A few simple reminders:
🧨 Leave fireworks to responsible adults.
👀 Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
💦 Have a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby.
🚫 Never relight a firework that doesn’t go off.
🍺 Alcohol and fireworks are a dangerous combination.
🗑️ Soak used fireworks in water before throwing them away.

If something doesn’t seem safe, it probably isn’t. The best way to enjoy fireworks is by attending a professional display whenever possible.

From all of us at Corunna Fire Department, have a fun, safe, and memorable Independence Day weekend. We hope the only things lighting up the sky are fireworks—not our emergency lights. 🇺🇸🎇
