**UPDATE** EPTON BETWEEN SMITH AND DELANEY IS OPEN
NEW CLOSURE:
🚧 Epton Rd between Delaney Rd and Chipman Rd | 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m

Good morning!
Today crews will continue working to replace a culvert on Goodall Road, and berming on Epton Road. The arm mowers will be operating in Middlebury and Shiawassee townships. We will be shouldering in the Cleveland Street area west of Owosso.

Watch for deer, Michigan. 🦌

This is the time of year when deer are on the move more often, especially with cooler fall weather settling in and more activity around dawn, dusk, and at night. That also means this is one of the busiest times of year for deer-car collisions across the state. If you’re driving, especially on back roads or near wooded areas, stay alert and slow down a little. And remember, if you see one deer, there’s a good chance more are nearby.

A little extra attention behind the wheel this time of year can go a long way.

Crews will be ditching on Six Mile Creek Road, replacing a culvert on Goodall Road, and scraping gravels in various locations throughout the county. There will be a paving company working in the Cleveland Street area west of Owosso today.

🚧 Six Mile Creek Rd between Ruess Rd and Cheeney Rd | 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
🚧 Goodall Rd between M-13 and Brown Road | 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Slow down in work zones and be aware of signs and the traffic around you - stay safe!

Today crews will be ditching on Six Mile Creek Road, replacing a culvert on Riniel Road, and berming on Epton Road. The arm mowers will be operating in Middlebury and Shiawassee townships. Scraping gravels continues in various locations throughout the county.

Crews continue their work to replace a culvert on Oak Street (Durand Road) and hope to finish later today. We also continue to work on Chestnut Street in preparation for paving. Other crews will be scraping gravels and shouldering on highways.

**UPDATE**
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Oak Street (Durand Road) will be closed overnight. We are hoping to complete the project Tuesday afternoon.

Another busy day for our crews - ditch improvements on Warren and Bennington Roads, culvert replacement on King Road, tree cutting on Bath Road, arm mowing in Middlebury and Shiawassee townships, and road grading.
