We have exciting news! Corvallis is welcoming a delegation from Uzhgorod, Ukraine this week! This is a group of young, female physicians from UzhNU's Medical School.

Here are some community events you may attend to learn a little about their cause and to interact with our Sister City!

~Tuesday, Sept 27 4:30PM- INFORMAL RECEPTION in the Memorial Union (Pan-African Sankofa Room #213)
~Tuesday, Sept 27 6:30-8PM- COMMUNITY PRESENTATION on the current conflict situation in Ukraine (Old World Deli Corvallis)
~Saturday, Oct 1 3-6PM- A FAREWELL PARTY and potluck, at the home of Dr. Mark and Alice Rampton 5455 NW Crescent Valley Drive.

You are invited to all of these. See you there, and contact us for carpooling options!

Privet, we wish everyone is having a strong summer so far, this year in SSA we are planning on having consistent gatherings dedicated to expanding the SSA within OSU as well as connecting to our sister cities. This will require ultimate involvement from everyone and a lot more fun this year! What types of events and ideas would you like to see come from SSA the following year?
