On a less ominous but definitely catchier note, here’s the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Stormwater PSA for their Turn Around, Don’t Drown campaign:
Hi, Which department should I contact to get information about the possibility of some measures being taken to address high traffic chronic speeding along the county road I live off of? Thanks
When is Benton County going to rebuild Springhill Drive? The road is in terrible condition, has been in terrible condition for YEARS, constantly patched, uneven, and UNSAFE. This road is pretty heavily used and its time to fix it once and for all. What Say You, Benton County, Oregon?
It would be helpful if the County could do some sort of post of who can help, What is needed? Where are they able to help? How can they make donations, and and other information for people wanting to donate and/or help. People in the community want to help but might need a little direction. Posting this information not just to the county page but other community pages as well. Communication is key
Benton County officials - thank you for all you're doing for evacuees! I've recently seen this post that I believe is factually accurate. How can we get the word to evacuees that they might need to re-register to vote & soon? Could someone get a bunch of voter registration cards to the evacuation sites? Thank you to all our first responders and emergency management teams for keeping our communities safe and prepared. There is a free Emergency Management/Preparedness app on the App Store. Its called the Emergency Ready App and can be downloaded for free at https://emergencyreadyapp.com/. It’s a great tool that allows people to customize their specific emergency kits and emergency response plans so they can prepare for the unforeseen. It also comes with built in features like pre-loaded emergency kit tools and plans. I thought this may be an excellent tool for folks in our community in addition to what our Emergency Management Team already has in place. Thanks again for all you do and continue to support our men and women in blue.
