We have some amazing news to share! The Albany Mennonite Church awarded us a wonderful $30,000 grant, which allowed us to fully furnish our Linn County shelter and add play structures to all our locations for the kids and families who come through our doors. We are overflowed with gratitude for their kindness and support! 🏠✨

We are incredibly grateful for their dedicated nursing team and a decade of shared impact! ✨

This July marks CARDV's 45th year of service! 💜
Back in 1981, our hotline was only answered on the weekends by dedicated volunteers. Today, our crisis and support line is answered 24/7, 365 days a year by fully trained advocates. While many things have changed over the decades, CARDV's commitment to serving survivors in our community remains unwavering.

Data consistently shows that LGBTQ+ individuals experience domestic and sexual violence at rates equal to or higher than cisgender, heterosexual individuals. True advocacy means understanding these unique barriers and ensuring that identity is never a barrier to receiving help, healing, and justice.
