We have some amazing news to share! The Albany Mennonite Church awarded us a wonderful $30,000 grant, which allowed us to fully furnish our Linn County shelter and add play structures to all our locations for the kids and families who come through our doors. We are overflowed with gratitude for their kindness and support! 🏠✨

While many things have changed over the decades, CARDV's commitment to serving survivors in our community remains unwavering.

At CARDV, we believe that everyone deserves a life free from violence, fear, and oppression. This June, we stand with the LGBTQ+ community to celebrate Pride Month—and to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to providing safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed support for all survivors.

Data consistently shows that LGBTQ+ individuals experience domestic and sexual violence at rates equal to or higher than cisgender, heterosexual individuals. True advocacy means understanding these unique barriers and ensuring that identity is never a barrier to receiving help, healing, and justice.

You belong. You are seen. You are believed.
