Since 1961, the Peace Corps has shared with the world America's most precious resource – its people. Peace Corps volunteers live, learn, and work with a community in one of more than 70 countries overseas. The Peace Corps is a 27-month commitment during which volunteers provide technical assistance in six program areas: education, agriculture, environment, health, youth and community development,

business and information and communications technology. The Peace Corps office at Oregon State University is the place to start your journey with the Peace Corps.
