Indiana Caverns is the heart of one of America's great cave systems and the Midwest's longest cave. The 80-minute tour includes walking and an underground boat ride, as well as formations, heights, depths, a waterfall, and ice age bones. Tickets are $26 for ages 12+ and $16 for ages 4-11.

Other activities include our Bat Chaser, Plunge, Escape Room, Interpretive Trail, Pygmy Playground (feed the kids!), Nature Hike, Visitor Center, Gift Shop, Cavern of the Sabertooth (exploring for kids), and panning for gemstones and fossils. Group and school rates are available with 10 days advance reservations. Call for availability and details. Our high-adventure caving trip, Deep Darkness, is an all-day caving adventure that includes underground kayaking on the main river. It is available by advanced reservation. Questions? Call us at 812-734-1200. Our last tour time is 4 p.m. from September through late May, with extended hours during peak season.

This young lady, Marie Woydziak, set a new Indiana Caverns record for the oldest person to do the complete tour ~including over 250 steps combined on the way in or the way out. The previous record was 96, but Marie smashed the record at age 98. Marie was with a senior citizens mystery bus tour from Witchita, KS.
