💙 Hey Elmer Gives Back! 💙

During the Ink and Iron fundraiser, Hey Elmer was proud to sell t-shirts and help raise money for the incredible work being done by Comfort House Child Advocacy Center. Every shirt sold helped make a difference for children and families in our community.

This morning, Elmer stopped by Comfort House to drop off a check with the proceeds from the fundraiser. We’re so grateful to everyone who purchased a shirt, supported the fundraiser, and helped make this donation possible!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Ink and Iron and, most importantly, the mission of Comfort House Child Advocacy Center. Together, we can make a difference. ❤️

What an incredible day in downtown Corydon! 🏍️🖤

Thank you to everyone who came out for Ink & Iron, and a huge thank you to Legend Tattoo Company for hosting this amazing event and choosing Comfort House Child Advocacy Center as a beneficiary.

From beautiful custom builds lining Capitol Square to the energy of downtown Corydon coming together for a great cause, this community showed up in a big way. We loved getting to meet so many of you at our booth, share what Comfort House does, and enter folks into our door prize drawing (a YETI Rambler, an Altec Lansing Bluetooth speaker, and dry bag are up for grabs — winner announced soon!).

To Legend Tattoo Company, our local downtown businesses, and every rider who rolled through — thank you for standing behind kids in our community. Events like this make our work possible. 🖤

🏍️🖤 Support Comfort House Child Advocacy Center this Saturday! 🖤🏍️

There are two great ways to support local children through Ink & Iron on Saturday, August 1!

🏍️ Attend Ink & Iron at Legends Tattoos https://www.thisisindiana.org/event/ink-iron-motorcycle-show/

Enjoy a day filled with motorcycles, tattoos, vendors, food, and community fun. All motorcycle entry fees will be donated to Comfort House Child Advocacy Center, helping provide hope, healing, and advocacy for children who have experienced abuse.

👕 Grab an Ink & Iron T-shirt from Hey Elmer!
Can't make it to the event—or want to show your support year-round? Hey Elmer has designed exclusive Ink & Iron shirts, and $2 from every shirt sold will be donated to Comfort House Child Advocacy Center. It's an easy way to support our mission while sporting an awesome design.

🛍️ Get your shirt here:
https://www.heyelmer.com/ink

Every dollar raised helps Comfort House continue providing child-focused forensic interviews, family advocacy, therapy referrals, and multidisciplinary team coordination for children and families in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Legends Tattoos, Hey Elmer, and everyone who has helped make this fundraiser possible. Your generosity is making a real difference in the lives of local children.

💙 We hope to see you at Ink & Iron—and don't forget to grab your shirt!

All items are printed on demand. Orders may be shipped or picked up at the Hey Elmer shop on the day of the Ink & Iron Motorcycle Show.

We are asking $20 for each motorcycle that is registered at the Ink and Iron Motorcycle Show and wanted to share where that money will be going. Comfort House Child Advocacy Center has an office located in Corydon and is used for conducting forensic interviews with children who are victims of sexual abuse. Recently, they shared a post, and we would like to share it with you.

“One case. One child. One team that refused to look the other way.

A child came through our doors, and during the process our trained staff noticed something that didn’t fit.

They raised it. They pushed. They made sure it wasn’t ignored.

What followed was an investigation that led to an arrest.

But here’s what stays with us: that arrest didn’t just protect one child. It removed someone from our community who may have had access to others — children we will never know about, in homes we will never see.

This is why Comfort House exists.

Not just to respond — but to stop what might happen next.

Your support makes this possible.”

We appreciate everyone who plans to attend this event, and even if you don’t ride a bike, if you’d like to make a monetary contribution to the Comfort House, there will be a donation table located at the information booth outside Legend Tattoo Company, LLC

Thank you in advance to everyone who comes out to support our local businesses, our community, and most importantly, the children and families served by Comfort House. Every registered motorcycle, every donation, and every person who attends helps make a difference. We look forward to seeing you at the Ink and Iron Motorcycle Show!

🤔 Did you know... through our Play It Safe program taught in schools, we spend a LOT of time talking about online safety?

Because during National Internet Safety Month — and every month — helping children stay safe online is more important than ever. It’s important for kids and families to know how to recognize unsafe situations and protect themselves.

Here are some tips we like to share:

❎Don’t friend someone you haven’t met in person.
👤Set your profiles to private.
👣 Don’t give out your personal information online.
👀 Look out for people who want you to keep a friendship a secret from adults.
📣 Use the Safety Rule: Say NO, Get Away, Tell an Adult.

In addition to conducting forensic interviews, Comfort House also brings the Play It Safe! program into local schools!

As the school year comes to an end, we wanted to share some of our end-of-year statistics with you… but we made it a challenge! 🔍

Hidden somewhere in the graphic is the total number of students we taught through Play It Safe! this school year. Think you can find it? 👀

👇 Drop your guess in the comments when you spot it!
