🚨 Recycling Reminder🚨
We’ve recently had to remove multiple bags of trash from the recycling bins at our CR 621 Bin. Unfortunately, those bagged items had to be thrown away.
👉 Why?
For safety and time management reasons, bagged recyclables are not opened or sorted. When items are placed in bags, they are often treated as trash and sent to the landfill.
♻️ Please remember:
✔️ Only place LOOSE, unbagged recyclables in the bins
✔️ Empty and rinse containers when possible
✔️ Follow the accepted items list (see photo below!)
🚫 Do NOT:
❌ Put recyclables in trash bags
❌ Use plastic bags in recycling bins
❌ Toss in items that don’t belong
The photos included show just some of the materials that had to be removed—and wasted. Let’s work together to keep our recycling program effective and reduce unnecessary landfill waste.
