Is pressure canning in your future this summer? If your canner has a dial gauge, have it checked for accuracy this Friday from 6:30-9:00 PM at the Bakersville Market. This is a free service from Extension. Just bring your lid along with you, and Emily will check it at her tent. Pick up Food Preservation Resources while you visit.

We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

Ohio State University Extension meat specialists are offering the 2026 Buckeye Fresh Mini Meat Cutting Workshops this July at Ohio State’s Animal Sciences Building in Columbus. Participants will gain hands-on experience and learn about anatomy, meat quality, food safety, cutting guidelines, processed meats, and more!

Tuesday, July 14 & Wednesday, July 15
⏰ 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
