📣 FAIR ENTRY DEADLINES ARE HERE! 🎡🐄🍀

As we get closer to the Coshocton County Fair, we want to make sure everyone knows about the upcoming entry deadlines!

🍀 JUNIOR FAIR ENTRIES — DUE TODAY!

Friday, September 4th

All Coshocton County 4-H members planning to exhibit at the Junior Fair—whether you're showing a livestock or non-livestock project—must complete your entries online at:

🎨 OPEN CLASS ENTRIES — DUE SEPTEMBER 11TH!

Don't forget that the fair isn't just about Junior Fair projects! Open Class entries are due September 11th.

There are opportunities for community members of all ages to participate, including:

🎨 Art Hall – Share your artwork and creative talents
🌾 Ag Hall – Showcase your gardening, crops, produce and agricultural accomplishments
🐇 Open Animal Shows – Bring your animals and participate in the various open classes and shows
🏡 Home & Family Exhibits – Share your cooking, baking, canning, sewing, crafts and other talents
📸 Photography & Other Exhibits – There are plenty of ways to showcase what you've been working on!

Whether you're a 4-H member, farmer, gardener, artist, photographer, baker, crafter, animal enthusiast, or simply someone who enjoys creating, there's a place for you at the Coshocton County Fair! ❤️

What a great start to the Coshocton County Land Use Comprehensive Plan process! More than 60 people joined us for the Project Launch to learn about the planning effort from OSU Extension Sustainable Development Team members Kellie Hayden, Myra Moss, and Jerry Thomas.

The visioning session sparked thoughtful discussion as participants shared their ideas, concerns, and hopes for the future of Coshocton County. These conversations will help shape the key themes and direction of the comprehensive plan.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed their voices. Be sure to watch for the four additional September session dates that have now been announced!

Join Emily Marrison, OSU Extension Family and Consumer Sciences Educator, for Air Frying for the Holidays and get inspired to use your air fryer for easy, healthy and delicious meals and snacks throughout the holiday season.

🌱 Don't Miss the Final Coshocton County Pasture Walk of 2026! 🐄

Join us on Monday, August 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Larry & Todd Endsley-Martin Farm (25513 TR 322, Coshocton, OH 43812) for the last Pasture Walk of the season.

Hear directly from Larry and Todd and Morgan County Extension educator, Jordan Penrose, highlighting forage production and rotational grazing for beef cattle.
