This Saturday!

Bring the kids to Saturday Storytime this summer! At 10:30 a.m. on the 3rd Saturday of the month, we’ll hold a storytime for kids in the library. At the June storytime, the Danielson Hustlers 4-H Club will lead the program, leading kids in planting seeds as well as reading stories.

Free to attend. No need to sign up. Children age 7 and younger must be accompanied by an adult or teen caregiver. Caregivers are encouraged to participate along with their children.

Adults, Cosmos Library is offering a reading challenge for you this summer! To observe the 250th anniversary of the United States, read 5 things from a long list of options, and bring in your completed sheet by August 14 for a small prize. The reading log is available at the front desk. Make sure to check the back of the sheet for all of your choices. You can read the core documents of the U.S., read Revolutionary War era history or historical fiction, or read about American history and culture across the whole 250 years and more. The semiquincentennial is a great occasion to learn more about all of America, not only its founding or government.

This afternoon!

Beginning June 1, this program will be offered Mondays through August 31, 3:00-4:30 p.m. No Pokémon June 29.

Open to kids ages 7-18. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult or teen caregiver. Caregivers are welcome to stay with kids at any time.

Never played Pokémon before? We can teach you! No cards? No problem. The library has all the cards needed to play. Want to bring your own cards? That’s okay, too.

No need to sign up or to attend every week. Free!

Cosmos Library is offering a weekly storytime for summer! Bring your young children to Tiny Tykes Storytime on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. in the library. This free program runs from June 1 through August 31. No storytime June 29.

This short time of stories, songs, and movement is best for ages 0-5. No need to sign up. An adult or teen caregiver must accompany the children, and they are encouraged to participate, as well.
